Chur - By far the largest and oldest alpine town in Switzerland
Description: Archaeological finds show that Chur was settled as early as the Neolithic Age (around 4,500 BC). Some sensational finds from the Sennhof / Karlihof area prove the presence of people in the area of today's Chur even for the time 11,000 BC. Chr. Chur is therefore often referred to as the oldest city in Switzerland. Source Wikipedia
