Description: Location: Riding uphill and downhill from Gletsch (VS) to Realp (UR) passing the Furkapass
Direction: Gletsch - Furkapass - Realp
Degree of difficulty: easy, road with bumby sections in higher regions but also good tarmac, favorite of motorcyclists, not to much traffic, on the side of Obergoms (VS) there are many long curves and hairpin bends with fine tarmac
View: If you expect a restaurant at the pass height of the Furkapass don't be disappointed - its closed (2021). But there is a little food truck, where drinks and some fast food are offered. Visit the Restaurant Furkablick, which reopened after 2020 (it is only a few hundred meters away from the pass height). A famous motorcycle meeting point is the Ice grotto with Souvenir shop and Snack bar. The Alpine Garden opens not before mid Juli. The much-photographed Hotel-Restaurant Belvédère is currently closed for an indefinite period. Source Wikipedia
