Beschreibung: Location: Riding downhill from Oberschan (Heidi's Playground) to the village Weite in St. Gallen Direction: Oberschan - Weite Degree of difficulty: easy, narrow road, almost no traffic (mostly agriculture and livestock), some unpaved sections (direction Berghütten). View: After enjoying the magnificent view over the Rhine Valley Heidi's playground is worth a stop: Above the closed Hotel Alvier there is a fireplace and a playground on the theme of 'Heidi's homecoming'. The best way to get to the various Heidi sculptures (some of which are damaged) and to the Alpöhis Hütte by motorbike is from Oberschan (direction Berghütten). The natural outdoor pool in Oberschan is also very tempting in summer: visit an alpine pool and cool down in the natural pool in Oberschan on hot days. Surrounded by an idyllic forest, the natural pool is embedded in the Wartau landscape. There is also a playground for younger guests.
