Description: At Glarus take the turn-off towards Riedern (Riedern is the gateway to Klöntal, so to speak) and follow the route to Klöntalersee. At the height of the dam, turn left over the dam and at the end of the dam keep left again in the direction of Schwammhöhe. From there you drive along the winding road to the mountain inn Schwammhölhe, which offers a magnificent view of Lake Klöntal. The Berggasthaus Schwammhöhe is the place in Glarus where regional dishes can be enjoyed from 1100 meters above sea level and at the same time a view of the Klöntalersee is offered. The mountain inn offers space for 80 people in the restaurant and 120 people on the terrace. A wide selection of menus is available.
