Descrizione: Location: Riding uphill from Gadmertal to pass height and from Wassen to pass height
Direction: Gadmertal - Sustenpass, Wassen - Sustenpass
Degree of difficulty: easy, road with a lot of medium bumby sections and also good tarmac, favorite of motorcyclists, not to much traffic, road works on the tunnel on the pass height (2021), on the side of Gadmertal there are many elegant curves with different curve radii plus fine tarmac.
View: If you have passed Wassen in the canton Uri take a break at the Restaurant Sustenbrüggli, which is a well known meeting point for motorcyclist (called 'Töfftreff' in Swiss German), which belongs to the Meiental, where the river Meienreuss is flowing through the valley. A good place to rest after reaching the pass height (2259 meters above sea level) and enjoying and taking photos of the great view over the Bernese Oberland is the Alpine Dairy Steingletscher in the Gadmer Valley.
