View: The Schallenberg is a pass in the Swiss canton of Bern. It lies between the towns of Steffisburg (BE) and Wiggen (LU), the pass height is 1168 m. A restaurant ("Gabelspitz") directly at the top of the pass offers hikers food and drinks. This is not the only reason why the pass is a popular destination for motorcyclists and cyclists. The route between Oberei and the pass has also been used as a mountain race track for decades. Every year a motorcycle race takes place on the Schallenberg - for a few years also combined with classic motorcycles.
