View: The Obersee is a lake in the Obersee Valley above Näfels in the Swiss canton of Glarus. The lake is 983 m above sea level. M. framed by the mountain peaks of Bärensoolspitz, Brünnelistock and Rautispitz. It is fed by the Sulzbach and has no surface outlet. The Berghotel Obersee is located on the lake with a view of the lake and the Brünnelistock. It is currently permanently closed. But on the way to the Obersee is the Aeschen Näfels Restaurant, which is open all year round and invites you to stop by.
